Chickadee Restaurant Seaport

The Chickadee restaurant was a collaboration with the ownership at the Innovation and Design Building and their team. We celebrated some of the existing architectural elements of this 1918 waterside storehouse that was once home to the South Boston Army Base. The large original round columns were wrapped in a custom metal detail, the original concrete flooring with all it’s imperfections was highlighted and not replaced. Custom millwork, furniture, and finishes were carefully coordinated and placed.
